Great use of traditional materials with a great traditional  pattern and a theme that is as old as the West itself. Though many a cowhand would have given his eye teeth for a blade like this most would never even have laid eyes on one unless he had the good fortune to come across an  Exibition knife. Many of the old cutlery firms were represented at these Fairs and all generally  fielded at least one knife of superior quality and lavish embellishment. The pattern invariably chosen for these fixed blades was the Bowie.</font></td>
